Ryan is from Florenceville, NB in Canada. He is a Paddle Canada sea kayak Level 4 paddler and a Paddle Canada sea kayak Level 2 Instructor. He has taken BCU coastal water and open water navigation courses and holds an advanced remote first responder certificate. 

Ryan is a lead kayak guide for Quark Expeditions, where he leads trips in Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands, Greenland and Svalbard.  Ryan has  just begun offering coaching from Intro to sea kayaking, Level 1 sea kayaking and level 2 sea kayaking.  He has a keen interest in navigation and is looking to offer navigation clinics as well.
