Mike Carpenter
Mike has been guiding multi-day sea kayaking trips on the Bay of Fundy since 1998. He is the co-owner of Red Rock Adventure in St. Martins, N.B. along the Fundy Trail coastline offering sea kayaking and hiking tours. He is also the Outdoor Education Director and Outward Bound Program Coordinator at Rothesay Netherwood School in Rothesay, N.B. There he organizes a wide variety of outdoor adventure activities. He is a Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Instructor, Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Responder, and Swift Water Rescue Technician.
Jeremy Cline
Jeremy holds a Paddle Canada Level 3 Sea Kayak Skills certification, is a Paddle Canada Level 1 Sea Kayak Instructor, holds a Transport Canada Marine Emergency Duties A-2 certificate, has successfully completed Transport Canada Chartwork and Pilotage 061, holds a BCU Open Water Navigation Certificate, a Industry Canada VHF Operators License and holds a Canadian Red Cross Medical First Responder Certificate.
Jeremy is the Executive Director of CKNB's West Isles Sea Kayak Symposium and Co-Owner of OutdoorsNB Inc.
Andrew Cutherberson
Andrew is a Stand Up Paddle Board, Sea Kayak and Wilderness First Aid Instructor. As the owner of Second Nature Outdoors in Fredericton, he looks forward to getting out of the office and on the water teaching.
Jordan Fournier
I am a moving water enthusiast. Most of my time in a canoe is spent on rivers either hitting up some white water or canoe camping with friends and family. I enjoy meeting new people with similar interests and helping people learn new things.
Shaun Gibbs
Shaun is an Intro, Level 1 and Level 2 Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Skills Instructor and has been sea kayaking since 1999. Shaun currently holds a Paddle Canada Level 4 sea kayak skills, a British Canoe Union 4 Star Sea Kayak leader award and a Red Cross wilderness remote first responder certificate. During the paddling season he is the manager of Baymount Outdoor Adventures Inc., who offer sea kayaking trips around the Hopewell Rocks, he also leads 3 to 5 day sea kayaking trips around the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, the Cape Breton Highlands and Cape Chignecto for Coastal Adventures inc. who are based out of Tangiers Nova Scotia. His goal as a sea kayaking coach is to help you improve your sea kayaking skills in order to make you a more skilled, safer and more confident paddler.
Denise Howlett
Denise and her husband Gig are both outdoor educators with over 50 years of combined teaching experience. They have won various awards for woodlot management, forest stewardship education and canoeing. Denise and Gig have national instructor certification in canoeing and kayaking.
