Required Gear

For your safety we ask that you have the following gear for your level of registration:

​

• Intro

  • Must have PFD

  • Must have thermal protection (semi-dry suit, wetsuit (minimum 3.5mm) or drysuit).

  • Must have safety Kit (bailer or pump, tow system or rope (50'), light, whistle or horn).

  • Should have spare paddle.

• Intermediate

  • Must have PFD. 

  • Must have thermal protection (drysuit preferred).

  • Must have safety Kit (bailer or pump, rope should be a tow system, light, whistle or horn).

  • Must have spare paddle.

  • Must have skirt.

  • Must have helmet.

  • Should have VHF.

  • Should have Chart (depending on theme chosen)

• Advanced Level

  • Must have PFD. Should be class V.

  • Must have thermal protection (drysuit preferred).

  • Must have Pump system.

  • Must have tow system.

  • Must have whistle.

  • Must have spare paddle.

  • Must have skirt.

  • Must have helmet.

  • Must have VHF.

  • Should have Chart.
