2024 Event Description:
Join Canoe Kayak New Brunswick at the 2024 West Isles Sea Kayak Symposium from Sept. 20th-22nd, 2024 on Campobello Island. This year's symposium will feature paddling opportunities on some of New Brunswick's most beautiful waters. We're lining up world-class coaches to deliver learning experiences for all skill levels, from introductory through to advanced.

Located just across the U.S. border at Lubec Maine (2.25 hours from Bangor Maine) on Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada, the 2024 West Isles Sea Kayak Symposium is easily accessible to Canadians, Americans and International Paddlers.

Clinics
The way you select your clinics is a little different for this year's symposium. You select your skill level and interest and we will create the best learning experience for you based on the participants needs and the environmental conditions of the day. We will be keeping group numbers down to 8 participants for intro groups (with 1 Instructor and 1 Assistant), 6 participants for Intermediate groups (1 Instructor and 1 Assistant) and 6 Participants for Advanced groups (with 1 or more instructors and 1 or more assistants).
What is the cost?
We have kept our pricing similar to peer weekend events.
Single Day CKNB Member: $350 CAD
Single Day Non member: $400 CAD
Complete Symposium CKNB Member: $550 CAD
Complete Symposium Non member: $600 CAD
What is Covered with my registration?
Registration covers the evening meet and greet on Friday, the morning briefing (Saturday Morning), your session on Saturday, a talk of your choosing Saturday evening, your morning briefing (Sunday morning) and your Sunday session.
There are many fine accommodations available on the Island and in Lubec Maine. Many folks will be staying at the Provincial Campground on the Island.
